Welcome to the New Jersey Chapter of SWANA's web site!  The Chapter is a voluntary group of professionals dedicated to the advancement of integrated solid waste management that is both environmentally sound and economical.  Our members include mayors, public work directors, engineers, scientists, educators and other professionals.

New Jersey's communities will always face the challenge of handling the trash generated by their residents and businesses in a environmentally safe and cost efficient manner.  SWANA NJ provides a network of dedicated professionals to promote the exchange of ideas and information leading to the continued improvement of solid waste management for all of our communities.
