New Jersey Chapter of SWANA

Welcome

Welcome to the official website for the New Jersey Chapter of SWANA.

Browse through our site and see why becoming a SWANA New Jersey member is for you!

The New Jersey Chapter of SWANA is made up of over 150 of the most diverse solid waste professionals in the nation from New Jersey. We host technical conferences every year, attracting speakers from across the country to discuss timely and upcoming issues. Our organization is made up of solid waste managers, regulators, engineers, consultants, operators, private haulers, and recyclers. Operations in our states include management of solid, hazardous, universal, and infectious waste; incinerators, landfills, transfer stations and recycling facilities. Current issues in the New Jersey Chapter include bioreactor landfills, international hauling, landfill gas management, maximizing disposal space, post-closure use, and gas to energy projects.

Read all about us on the next pages and if you have questions, comments on our website content, need a Membership information application, or require further information, please Contact Us.

Our Mission:
